Introduction

In this article you will be shown how to create a project within the Mobiess web portal. In order to implement this, the user must have the following roles assigned to them: Asset Inspector, Data Administrator, and Asset Validation.

How to Implement

Within the web portal, navigate to the Configuration dropdown, and select Projects.

Under Projects, you will be shown a list of all of your created Projects. To create a new one, click the “Create Project” button.

Your new project will now appear in the table. Please note that, when saving the project, it must have a code and hierarchy assigned to it before saving.

To edit any field, simply click on the box you wish to change. You will either have to select the new value from a dropdown or enter text. If there are hierarchies available to assign, your project will be instantly assigned to a hierarchy.

Other details the user is able to edit include (If you are an Asset Inspector user):
-Set if there is to be a Fabric Survey template to be used
-Risk Assessment Frequency and the template to be used
-Start and end dates if needed
-Whether the buildings use strict locations

We recommend you to set a data group within the Group field when creating your project.
You can assign Data Groups to Templates, Users, Buildings and Projects to allow users to see certain projects and buildings or restrict their ability to start certain templates or see specific data relating to the building or project. See more on our data-groups knowledge article.

The Delete option will only show when Objects Exists (Buildings) is false and Assets Exists is false to prevent any records becoming parentless.
