Introduction
Device tracking can be a useful feature for knowing where you/your organisation have been using the Mobiess app. It can be switched on and off as desired.
How to Implement
To Turn Tracking On
To turn tracking on, navigate to “Devices”, then “Devices” again.
Click the row of the device you wish to track. It should highlight orange.
Next, click the green “Tools” button in the top right of the corner of the screen. Select “Track On”, and then press the blue “Save” button.
When this device next logs in, their location will be uploaded to Mobiess servers and will be available to view within the admin portal.
To Turn Tracking Off
To turn tracking off, follow the same steps as outlined previously. However, instead of selecting “Tracking On” within tools, you will need to select “Track Off”.
This device will no longer be tracked by the system.
How to View Device Locations
To view the locations of your devices, click “Devices”, then “Location”.
This will display a map, centered on your current location. You can zoom out and drag across the map in order to view all of your devices’ tracked locations.
